New advisory fuel rates for September 2011
26 Aug 11
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has published the latest advisory fuel rates for company cars.
The new rates cover journeys made on or after 1 September.
However, for a month from the introduction of the new rates, employers can, if they so choose, apply either the previous rates or the new rates.
That means employers can make or request supplementary payments as they wish.
The new rates can be found at: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/cars/advisory_fuel_current.htm
